A Not for Profit Laboratory

The Bedford Research Foundation's clinical laboratory is a not for profit, Massachusetts public charity. The laboratory operates on the principle that revenues and information from existing laboratory tests should be used to support research and the development of new tests.

Prostatitis Test Kit

The Fixed Prostatitis Test Kit ($245.00) includes a patented fixative that preserves the entire specimen for analysis. This means the specimen is not time-sensitive and can be sent via regular mail.

Bacteria Semen Test KitAdvanced white blood cell count to help diagnose prostatitis. Helpful if you suspect you have prostatitis, if you know that you have it, or if your Fixed Semen Cytology Kit revealed a high level of cells which are not sperm in your semen.

Bacterial Analysis to diagnose what type of bacterial infection you may have. This will help your doctor determine what antibiotic to prescribe.
